Our patio cover panels and wind ratings
Updated October 2026
C.J. Delery makes five aluminum panel systems in one Louisiana shop: Del-Port 1' W, Quad 16, Quad 16 Insulated, 12" Flat and the new Extruded panel. Properly installed, they are rated from 110 to 130 MPH, and the Extruded panel up to 180 MPH. All are 3105-H28 aluminum with a baked-on enamel finish.
The five panels
- Del-Port 1' W: Delery's original W panel, .025/.032/.040/.050 gauge, patented concealed wrap-around gutter frame, for long spans. Rated 130 MPH.
- Quad 16: 16-inch, .032 gauge, looks like soffit underneath, back-water release prevents standing water if gutters clog. Rated 120 MPH.
- Quad 16 Insulated: 16-inch, .032 gauge, mechanically locked seams, no sealants or tape, no-leak guaranteed. Rated 130 MPH.
- 12" Flat Panel: .032 gauge economy line with matching drain gutter and side fascia, 5-year warranty. Rated 110 MPH.
- Extruded: our strongest panel, rated for winds up to 180 MPH, for commercial jobs and the hurricane-country upgrade.
Built into every system
- Our 3x4 square downspout, a larger profile that drains water off patios faster.
- A deeper panel-locking seam that locks tighter than the industry standard and stays locked.
- Heavy-gauge 3105-H28 aluminum and a baked-on enamel finish.
Wind rating disclaimer
- Ratings are for properly installed covers. Actual wind gusts vary with site exposure, foundation integrity and the structure of the host building. Ratings are not an unconditional weather guarantee and exclude flying debris, winds above rated limits, unrated custom modifications and Acts of God during named tropical systems.
"Patio up now about 3 years. No problem with the last hurricane. Materials are very heavy duty."Joe Helgason, Google review
