Maximum Distance Between Posts
10′ is the maximum distance between posts. This can be increased to 30′ using aluminum I-Beams. When posts exceed 12′ in height (above ground) steel posts must be used in place of standard aluminum.
NOTE: On freestanding covers, posts must be 2′ below ground.
